Animoca Brands Cooperates with Honda To Launch NFTs during Japanese Grand Prix

Animoca Brands Japan, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd, has teamed up with Honda Motor to offer fans and participants membership NFTs and commemorative NFTs at events related to the Japanese Grand Prix 2023 this week.

This Web3 fan engagement will also involve another Animoca Brands subsidiary, Gryfyn, and GET Protocol, which specializes in providing accessible NFT Ticketing infrastructure to mainstream audiences worldwide.

During the FORMULA 1™ Honda & Red Bull Welcome Event at Zepp Shinjuku in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, on September 20, and at the Japanese Grand Prix 2023 at the Suzuka Circuit from September 21-24, Honda will gift NFTs.

Holders of Honda KEY NFTs will be entitled to special experiences and perks at future events and collaborations with different companies. Honda will initially distribute Honda KEY NFTs to all fans who apply for the lottery to purchase tickets for the welcome event in Tokyo.

Honda organizes this event, and attendees will receive a commemorative NFT that will be airdropped to ticket holders after the event. Additionally, Honda KEY NFTs and other exclusive items will be available to fans who visit the Honda booth at the Grand Prix, which can be redeemed.

It was previously announced that Animoca Brands Japan and Gryfyn, a Web3 wallet dedicated to connecting brands and communities, are collaborating with Honda to enhance fan engagement with Honda’s motorsports portfolio. Honda also works closely with Animoca Brands Japan on their Web3 fan strategy, while Gryfyn is the wallet partner for hosting the Honda KEY NFT.

Additionally, GET Protocol has partnered with the Dutch Grand Prix to introduce ticket-linked digital collectibles for the Zandvoort 2023 race and will be aiding Honda in launching its unique commemorative NFT.
