American singer Bebe Rexha announced she will hold her first-ever concert in the metaverse on Roblox this week on July 28. 

Rexha’s metaverse concert comes following the launch of her new album, Bebe, and the conclusion of her Best F*N Night Of My Life summer tour as she invites her fans to join a new singing experience in the virtual space. 

“As a huge fan of the metaverse, I couldn’t be more thrilled to share my first Roblox concert with some of my biggest fans and all of the new ones I’ll meet along the way in the wonderful Harmony Hills,” Bebe Rexha said, “I hope everyone’s ready for a fun and energetic journey as we travel back in time together.”

The metaverse concert will be hosted on Harmony Hills, Warner Music Group’s popular music-themed world on Roblox. Fans can attend the concert from anywhere and on any device for free on Roblox, including consoles, PCs, mobile, and tablets.

Bebe Rexha will be dressed in a 1970s-themed outfit during the virtual event in addition to unique merchandise such as Bebe Rexha necklace, Bebe Rexha shoulder plushie, disco ball helmet, roller skates, retro snap camera, and a blue crystal denim jumpsuit.

It is worth mentioning that the virtual concert is an outcome of a collaboration between Los Angeles-based developer Gamefam with Warner Music Group (WMG). The concert is expected to bolster Rolbox’s position as a pioneering virtual concert space for younger demos like under-13s, who made up 47% of its daily active users in Q2 2022, according to its financial report for the quarter. 

Singers like Elton John and Lil Nas X have already performed concerts in the metaverse. Virtual concerts became a growing market for singers’ fans, especially kids and teen demos.
