The NFT sales over the past week witnessed a decline compared to the week prior, as they went down by 16% at the time of writing. 

Over the past seven days, the NFT sales amounted to more than $89.311 million, over $54,538 million of which were from the Ethereum blockchain, around 16% down from the previous week. 

Out of the top 20 blockchains, Ethereum had the lion’s share of the NFT sales seven days ago, accounting for over 61% of the total sales. 

While Solana is still in second place in terms of NFT sales for weeks, accounting for only 9% of the total sales ($8.159 million), a 17% incline from the previous week. 

All blockchains over the past week saw a decrease in sales except Cardano. Blockchains of Solana, Polygon, Mythos Chain, Immutable X, BNB Chain, and Bitcoin followed Ethereum regarding the total sales over the past week, respectively. 

Most of the NFT collections witnessed a decrease in their sales, except Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Cross The Ages, and CryptoPunks, whose sales surged over the past week by 76%, 1087%, and 93%, respectively.  

Regarding the NFT price floor, Bored Ape Yacht Club is trying to restore gains in terms of with a value hitting $42,710 ETH, following CryptoPunks, whose floor was just $78,495 ETH, according to data from nftpricefloor.com.

The most expensive NFT sold last week was BAYC #7485, which sold for around $173 million. The following top expensive NFTs sold over the past seven days were sold from $165 million and downwards. 

As for the NFT marketplaces, Blur leads the NFT marketplaces, followed by OpenSea. Blur’s sales over the past week reached $39.83 million, while the sales on OpenSea were $17.44 million (-32.26%).
