The first Web 3.0 summit in Jordan will be held on March 12 and 13, organized by well-known events organizer AFAQ Group, Cryptopolitan reported.

The distinctive event will gather Web 3.0 speakers, blockchain developers, metaverse adopters, NFT artists and creators, investors, crypto traders, fintech start-ups, financial institutions, government officials, and DeFi & Dapp projects together under one umbrella in Amman.

The summit is expected to explore opportunities and initiatives in the fields of Web 3.0, metaverse, and blockchain, in addition to NFTs and crypto technologies and the future of decentralized finance.

In this regard, AFAQ Group Chairman Khaldoun Nusair said his company is excited to take the initiative to enhance the Web3 environment in Jordan among government officials, businesses, and communities, noting: “While the world is quickly turning decentralized, studies show that the region is widely adopting Web 3.0-based technology and becoming a promising market as well as a central hub.”

Through the event, an educational program will be launched for the attendees. The training will be provided by an international Web3 & blockchain educational certification institution.

It will also witness the Jordan Web 3.0 Awards, in which a jury of international experts will award prestigious companies and individuals who are working in blockchain and decentralized web-related categories. It is noticeable that the Middle East region, especially the Arab countries, has recently witnessed events related to the metaverse, blockchain, and Web 3.0, like Egypt, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
