The NFT sales over the past week witnessed a slight increase compared to the week prior, as they grew by 4.47%, according to Bitcoin News. 

Over the past seven days, the NFT sales amounted to more than $271.963 million, over $235.562, million of which were from the Ethereum blockchain, an 8.06% hike from the previous week. Out of the top 20 blockchains, Ethereum had the lion’s share of the NFT sales seven days ago, accounting for more than 86% of the total sales. 

While Solana came in second place in terms of NFT sales, accounting for only about 5% of the total sales ($14.865 million). Blockchains of Immutable X, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Cardano followed Solana regarding the total sales over the past week, respectively, Bitcoin News quoted data from CryptoSlam. 

The NFT collections which saw high sales over the past week were Bored Ape Yacht Club, Opepen Edition, MG Land, Otherdeed, Sewer Pass, the Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), byteGANs, Checks – VV Edition, The Captainz, and Sorare, respectively. 

The top-selling NFT collection was BAYC recording, $28,249,704 million, all the following NFT collections reported a significant drop in the last week’s sales, except Opepen Edition, MG Land, and byteGANs, which reported a significant hike in their sales by 601.70%, 319.27%, and 5521.62%, respectively. 

Bored Ape Yacht Club had the highest floor value at $117,661 ETH, followed by CryptoPunks, whose floor was just $104,976 ETH, according to data from nftpricefloor.com.

The most expensive NFT sold last week was CryptoPunk #1484, which sold for $483.105 million. This sale was followed by Autoglyphs #335, which sold for $400.439 million, Azuki #2904 sold for $352.246, BAYC #7094 sold for $212.313, and BAYC #9603 sold for $206.838.

As for the NFT marketplaces, Blur again overtook the leading NFT marketplace OpenSea, after dominating 81% of the market share over the past week, while Opensea accounted for 13.6%, according to data from dappradar.com and Dune Analytics.
