Solana, Polygon Saw Increase in NFT Sales Volume over Past Week

The NFT sales over the past week witnessed a slight decline, as they went down by only 4.53% at the time of writing. 

Over the past seven days, the NFT sales amounted to more than $78.708 million, over 36.722 million of which were from the Ethereum blockchain, around 17% down from the previous week. 

Out of the top 20 blockchains, Ethereum had the lion’s share of the NFT sales seven days ago, accounting for around 47% of the total sales. 

Meanwhile, Polygon became in second place in terms of NFT sales for the past week, accounting for over 12% of the total sales ($9.564 million), a 22% increase from the previous week. 

Most of the blockchains over the past week saw a growth in sales except Mythos Chain and Cardano. Blockchains of Solana, Mythos Chain, Immutable X, Bitcoin, BNB Chain, and Flow followed Polygon regarding the total sales over the past week, respectively. 

Most of the NFT collections witnessed a decline in their sales, except 

$SATS BRC-20 NFTs, DraftKings, and Gods Unchained Cards went up by 129.17%, 36.41%, and 32.72%, respectively. At the same time, the NFT collection of Mutant Ape Yacht Club witnessed growth over the past week by 10%

Regarding the NFT price floor, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is still in second place in terms of the highest floor value at 37.6 ETH, following CryptoPunks, whose floor was just 71.72 ETH, according to data from nftpricefloor.com.

Last week, The most expensive NFT was BAYC #3149, which sold for over $221 million. The following top expensive NFTs sold over the past seven days were sold from $151 million and downwards. 

As for the NFT marketplaces, Blur leads the NFT marketplaces, followed by OpenSea. Blur’s sales over the past week reached $29.4 million, while the sales on OpenSea were $13.6 million (-10.9%).
