Women of Arab origins managed to achieve great success in the field of blockchain around the world over the past period. One of these women, who was chosen among the best blockchain leaders worldwide, is Amber Ghaddar.&nbsp;



Who Is Amber Ghaddar?&nbsp;



Ghaddar is a woman of Lebanese origins, living in London. She received a bachelor&#8217;s degree in science and technology from McGill University in 2003. She also got three master&#8217;s degrees in neuroelectrophysiology, microelectronics and nanotechnologies, and international risk management in addition to a Ph.D. in philosophy in molecular medicine in 2009.&nbsp;



Honorable Career



During her career, Dr. Ghaddar assumed prestigious leading positions in a number of major companies and institutions worldwide.&nbsp;



She started her career in Thematic Investment Research (GIR) at&nbsp;Goldman Sachs then became the head of UK private banks cross-asset derivatives solutions at JP Morgan in London in 2012 then led the systematic trading strategies at the same bank.&nbsp;



She was invited to take part in several international events. By the end of 2018, she established AllianceBlock Company in the United Kingdom.



What Is AllianceBlock?&nbsp;&nbsp;



AllianceBlock was founded in August 2018 by Amber Ghaddar, Rachid Ajaja, and Matthijs de Vries. It is a blockchain startup that works on developing the framework of the world’s first globally compliant capital market by bridging TradFi and DeFi.

Defending Women&#8217;s Rights



Ghaddar sees herself as a staunch defender of women&#8217;s rights in the technology domain in general, especially blockchain. In a press interview, she said that among the 200 largest crypto projects in terms of market capitalization, only four are founded by women.



She always calls for filling the gender gap in the coding field by taking serious steps. Therefore, she was selected by Fintech Review as one of the best blockchain leaders in the world.&nbsp;
