In light of its growing popularity over the past two years, several Arab artists realized the importance of representing Muslims in the NFT world. One of the most significant Arabs who realized this matter at an early stage is Canadian-Lebanese rapper Karter Zaher.&nbsp;



Who Is Karter Zaher?&nbsp;



Born and raised in Canada, Zaher is a well-known rapper of Lebanese origins. He is a part of a hip-hop band named Deen Squad. Although being raised in Canada, Zaher is keen on empowering Muslim communities in all fields, especially NFTs.&nbsp;



How Was His Beginning with NFTs?&nbsp;



After the wide spread of digital collectibles worldwide, Zaher and his spouse Doaa Al Hawamdeh started researching and reading about this field to begin their investments in it. They noticed that there are no NFT projects which are consistent with Islamic beliefs and values.&nbsp;

Therefore, Zaher and his wife decided to launch their first NFT project to empower the Muslim community titled &#8220;<a target="_blank" href="https://upyo.com/ar/nft/collections/hijabiqueens" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hijabi Queens &amp; Bearded Kings</a>.&#8221;&nbsp;



What Is Hijabi Queens &amp; Bearded Kings?&nbsp;



It is an NFT collection consisting of 5,000 images of hijabi queens and 5,000 images of bearded kings. Owning one of these NFTs allows its holder access to the HQ club. The club is being built by passionate women and it serves as a network for Muzzy entrepreneurs and creators to thrive. The metaverse of this collection is called MuzzyVerse.&nbsp;



Zaher sees that the amazing thing in this project is that it is a way to create a new community of Muslim men and women on the blockchain legally having its world and economy.&nbsp;

Zaher is keen on rendering his NFT project successful to create a space for Muslims in this domain. So he cooperates with the Council on American‑Islamic Relations to promote Islam and change Muslim&#8217;s big picture.&nbsp;

Karter Zaher… Lebanese Rapper Represented Muslims in NFT World

The Lebanese art scene witnessed the shift of a large number of artists toward non-fungible tokens (NFTs) over the past months. With the big echo caused by the NFTs over the past period, several Lebanese artists began to realize the importance of showcasing their artworks as NFTs.&nbsp;



Among these artists was the renowned Lebanese visual artist Adra Kandil.



Who Is Adra Kandil?&nbsp;



Kandil, a Lebanese visual artist, was born in 1993. She received her high school diploma from the American Community School in Beirut in 2011 and graduated from IED Barcelona with a bachelor&#8217;s degree in creative advertising and branding in 2017.



She also got a master&#8217;s degree in design from the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona in 2018.&nbsp;



Her Artistic Career



Kandil was fond of art since her childhood and worked on developing her talent while studying. She has a distinguished style in her artworks as she was keen to get back to the past, therefore she took a slogan of &#8220;Dear Nostalgia&#8221;.



Her art combines the retro look, bright pop colors, and modern typography to create a visual reflection of the struggle and hopes of her generation. In short, through her art, Kandil creates visual messages of the past, present, and future.



Through her art, she attempts to express a number of issues including gender equality, women&#8217;s empowerment, and social and political transformation in the Middle East in general, Lebanon in particular.&nbsp;



She has participated in many exhibitions around the world, in Beirut, California, Paris, Switzerland, New York, Amsterdam, and Barcelona, in addition to working with several non-government organizations and cooperating with brands like Gucci, Chanel and others.&nbsp;



Her Shift to The NFT World&nbsp;



Due to the great echo caused by the NFTs, Kandil began to seriously think about entering this world. And she started to present her artworks as NFTs, which achieved wide popularity later.&nbsp;



Her Unique touch Kandil was keen to add her unique touch to her artworks, a matter which made her NFTs distinguished, unlike other tokens.&nbsp;
